The programme catalogue is extensive, covering power skating, shooting, stickhandling, off-ice conditioning, and combined skill clinics, alongside seasonal prep camps, a development league, and a mentorship track through the Coach's Eye programme.
Training is available in private, small-group, and team formats, serving male and female players from youth beginners through competitive-level athletes. The organisation is also listed as serving Amherstburg and Leamington in addition to the Windsor core. What parents say
“My son has improved immensely in every aspect of the game thanks to the programs DHD offers! His first time ever being on the ice was last season - he honestly didn't even know how to stand with skates on his feet - but over the summer he participated in two of Danny's programs and now he's skating circles around his teammates! All of the coaches are so so patient with the kids. Not only are they teaching them valuable skills, they're also encouraging the kids to have fun while they learn. They're not just showing them the 'whats and hows' - they're also giving them explanations for every skill they're being taught, and teaching them when and where to apply each skill in a game. The small class sizes are fantastic also - the kids get a much more intimate approach with lots of individual attention from the coaches, who are extremely talented might I add! I've never seen such skill, ever! These programs are not only beneficial for my son, but it's so much fun to watch everybody while they're on the ice too! He has learned so much, and has been able to utilize and showcase all of his knowledge and new skills when he's out on the ice with his team. From having no idea how to hold a stick - to being one of the more talented players on his team in one single year is a huge feat and it's entirely because of Danny and Coach Kory, and all of the wonderful assistant coaches we've met so far. I am so glad I registered my son in their programs, it's been so exciting t [...truncated]”
