Elevate Hub started in 2024 in a Stouffville arena lobby. Like most parents, I was Googling “power skating Stouffville” between periods. Three pages of ads, two outdated directories, and a Facebook group later, I still didn't have a shortlist.
Elevate Hub is the directory I wished I'd had. A Canada-wide list of hockey trainers, skills academies, and goalie coaches, sorted by city and filterable by what they actually teach. Verified by us, claimable by them, free for parents.
We're not a booking platform. We don't try to insert ourselves between you and the trainer. We're a discovery layer: find someone who fits your kid, contact them in one tap, then take the conversation off our platform and onto the rink.
How we keep listings honest
Every listing on Hub is enriched by hand and by software. We pull data from public sources, clean it, filter the noise (a parent complaining about league politics isn't a review of the trainer), and rewrite descriptions in a consistent voice. When a trainer claims their listing, their version of the truth overrides ours.
We don't accept payment to rank trainers higher. Featured placement is available to claimed trainers, but every listing, claimed or not, is sorted by parent rating and listing completeness inside that.
What's next
Hub launched in Ontario, Alberta, and BC. Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Maritimes are on the roadmap for late 2026, and US expansion follows into 2027. If your favourite trainer isn't on Hub yet, send us an email and they will be within the week.
