About Twin City Hockey Skating School
Operating since 1987, Twin City Hockey Skating School has delivered Skate Canada and CanPowerSkate certified power skating instruction in Kitchener and Waterloo for 39 years. The school runs a tiered programme — Power 1 through Power 4, including rep-player-only levels — alongside private lessons and open power sessions, covering balance, agility, speed, endurance, stickhandling, and shooting.
Programming is open to hockey and ringette athletes across the Waterloo Region, from beginners through competitive rep players. Coaches provide frequent individual feedback and focus on technical correction each session. Reviewer feedback from multi-year programme participants points to measurable improvements in skating fundamentals and consistent attention to proper technique.
What parents say
“One of the best powerskating programs I've seen. Both my sons have been through the program and I've seen great results. The coaches focus on proper technique and correction, and make sure each player is progressing, giving them frequent feedback each session.”
