Galt Minor Hockey School

Operating out of Dickson Arena in Cambridge, Galt Minor Hockey School runs year-round programming for children starting at age 3. The curriculum progresses through four named stages — Superheroes, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — covering balance, puck handling, and power skating in small-group sessions designed to allow for personalised instruction.

Formal programme streams include Learn to Skate, Learn to Play (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced), and Power Skating. The structured levelling system gives younger and newer skaters a clear pathway as they develop confidence on the ice, with the primary focus on the U7-and-under through early minor hockey age range.
