Northern Sports Excellence

Based at 197 Trunk Road in Sault Ste. Marie, Northern Sports Excellence combines on-ice training with a retail and services operation under one roof. The facility includes an in-store shooting zone, an indoor test rink, licensed apparel, and professional skate sharpening — resources designed to support players from gear selection through to on-ice skill building.

The Northern Elite Female Hockey Academy is a distinct programme within the operation, focused on team development for female players. Shooting and scoring is the primary skills focus, with sessions geared toward youth players at the U8–U13 level. Kyle Jones leads the organisation, serving athletes across the local Sault Ste. Marie community.
