About Hand Made Hockey
Hand Made Hockey is based in Orléans and serves players across Eastern Ontario through individual skills development, organised scrimmages, and the Hand Made Hockey League. The programme is led by founder Ryan Hand, a former assistant coach with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and a two-time Bogart Cup champion with more than 20 years of coaching experience.
On-ice sessions focus on shooting mechanics, skating precision, puck control, and hockey IQ — delivered through both private sessions and team-format training. The league and scrimmage offerings provide structured competitive play alongside the skills work, which distinguishes it from a pure skills-clinic model.
Review feedback highlights the personalised attention coaches bring to sessions, with parents noting strong engagement from younger players.
What parents say
“Handmade Hockey's Young Gun Clinic exceeded our expectations! My son came out and said it was his favourite clinic so far. The focus was on shooting, puck control, and skating. He learned a ton and had a blast while doing it. The coaches were fantastic, providing personalized attention and expert guidance! Highly recommend!”
