Founded in 1977, Flamboro Skating Club is a volunteer-directed, non-profit club based in Waterdown serving the Hamilton area. Its programme range covers Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, Adaptive CanSkate, Start to Skate, Teen and Adult skating, Power Skating, and Figure Skating — with both group and private sessions available.
The club holds NCCP certification, Skate Canada CanSkate sanction, and a Skate Ontario CanSkate Exceeded Standard designation. Skating fundamentals and power skating are the primary skill focuses, with pathways suited to recreational participants and those pursuing higher-performance figure skating tracks.
Programmes are structured for children through to adults, reflecting nearly five decades of community-based skating instruction in the Waterdown and Hamilton region.
