About Burnaby Skating Club
Operating for over 40 years, Burnaby Skating Club runs a full range of Skate Canada–sanctioned figure skating programmes at its Burnaby location, serving skaters from the Greater New Westminster area as well. The curriculum spans introductory CanSkate through to competitive-level training, covering jumps, spins, edgework, balance, and technique. All coaching is delivered by NCCP-certified instructors in both group and private lesson formats.
Programme levels include CanSkate, FS Fundamental, FutureSTAR, Bronze A and B, Silver, Gold, STARskate, PowerSkate, and Competitive Skate. The club is notably one of the few in the Vancouver area with a dedicated adult skating stream, and reviewers point to a welcoming atmosphere, ample ice space, and a flexible approach across age groups.
