WINFIELD SKATING CLUB

Winfield Skating Club operates out of Winfield Arena in Lake Country, BC, providing Skate Canada–affiliated instruction for skaters aged three and up. Head coach Becky Brimacombe leads a programme that spans PreCanSkate through Junior, Intermediate, and Senior StarSkate, with additional streams for teens and adults including Teen Plus, Mixed (Teen and Adults Star 3+), Adult Daytime, and CanPowerSkate.

The club's approach emphasises fun alongside skill-building in balance, speed, and technique, with the stated aim of helping each skater reach their own goals. Small-group formats are used throughout, and the family-oriented environment is designed to be accessible for younger beginners while still offering structured progression for more experienced skaters.
